SER achieves highest freight loading performance, revenue
In a significant performance, the South Eastern Railway achieved the highest ever freight loading performance and freight loading revenue in the year 2023-2024.
Train services in Howrah-Kharagpur section of South Eastern Railway have been affected due to agitation at Chengail and Fuleswar stations and Santragachi level crossing gate since 1.22 pm today blocking all lines, said a SER release.
As a result of this agitation, the trains cancelled on Friday were 18043 Howrah-Bhadrak Baghajatin Express, 18003 Howrah-Adra Shiromani Express, 12813 Howrah-Tatanagar Steel Express, 12827 Howrah-Purulia Express, 08001/08002 Howrah-Digha-Howrah Special, 12895 Shalimar-Puri Express.
Trains cancelled on Saturday are 12814 Tatanagar-Howrah Steel Express, 18004 Adra-Howrah Shiromani Express, 12828 Purulia-Howrah Express, 18044 Bhadrak-Howrah Express.

The trains diverted were 12860 Howrah-Mumbai CSMT Gitanjali Express via Barddhaman-Asansol-Joychandi Pahar-Chandil-Sini; 12870 Howrah-Mumbai CSMT Weekly Express via Barddhaman-Asansol-Joychandi Pahar-Chandil-Sini.
