Mr Sadhukhan is critically ill and undergoing chemotherapy. Son Shubhodip said, “I was taken aback at the presence of ED officials in front of my house. However, I politely asked them to sit in our sitting room. I asked for the warrant. The address and the police station mentioned in the warrant did not match with our house address. The ED officials examined our ID proofs and realized their mistake and left.
Subhodip added, “We felt embarrassed and insulted at the presence of ED officials at our home. It is really astonishing that the intelligence of such a reputed investigation agency failed completely. My father is a cancer patient. He had to undergo chemotherapy. It is god’s grace that my father did not collapse after hearing the news of ED officials at our residence.”
