Asansol goods shed gets better illumination with LED lights

The Asansol Division of Eastern Railway has commissioned 60 new 5-meter-high street light poles fitted with 72W energy-efficient LED lights at Asansol Goods Shed, enhancing working conditions and ensuring smoother freight operations.

The LED lights provide an average illumination of 60 lux, reducing glare, improving visibility and ensuring reliable lighting. This will benefit railway staff engaged in loading and unloading activities and strengthen overall safety and security.
