Referring to the alleged theft of offerings and embezzlement of jewellery at the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, he said that it was a betrayal of faith and that the BJP leadership should be ashamed of it.
He alleged that under BJP rule, the country’s economy has weakened, foreign debt has risen, and corruption is rampant at every level.
He said that farmers are not getting fair prices for their produce and are facing difficulties in accessing essential services such as fertilizers, seeds, electricity, and diesel.
Mr. Yadav also questioned the law and order situation in the state, saying that fake encounters are taking place and that Uttar Pradesh ranks highest in cases of deaths in police custody. He alleged that the government’s claim of “zero tolerance” has completely failed.
Referring to the alleged job-offer fraud at Aligarh Muslim University, he accused the BJP of protecting criminals.
The SP president said that the BJP works to divide society in the name of religion. He alleged that the BJP, despite professing to uphold Sanatan Dharma, is insulting Jyotishpeethadhishwar Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, angering saints and seers.
He further alleged that education, healthcare, and public welfare schemes are in shambles under the BJP government and that students, farmers, traders, labourers, and youth are all suffering.
Mr. Yadav said that the Constitution, democracy, and reservation are in danger and that the people will protect them by removing the BJP from power in the 2027 Assembly elections.
