The Haryana Government has promoted two senior officers of the Information, Public Relations and Languages (IPRL) Department to the post of Additional Director as part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening the department’s senior leadership.

According to an official order issued by the Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department, Joint Directors Raj Singh and Urvashi Rangara have been elevated to the rank of Additional Director in FPL-13 (Group ‘A’) with immediate effect.

The promotion order states that both officers will serve on probation for one year or until their date of superannuation, whichever comes earlier. Their appointments will be governed by the provisions of the Haryana Public Relations Department (Group-A) State Service Rules, 1982.

The government has also clarified that the promotions will remain subject to the claims of any senior eligible officers, if applicable.

Following their elevation, Raj Singh and Urvashi Rangara have been posted at the department’s headquarters in Chandigarh, where they will assume their new responsibilities with immediate effect.
