Delhi govt notifies Winter Pollution Master Plan with WFH, construction curbs and stricter PUC rules
The Delhi government has notified the Winter Pollution Master Plan under which several measures have been prescribed to tackle the air pollution.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said her government is accelerating development works across all the assembly constituencies, emphasizing on providing improved amenities across the rural belt and those areas that had previously faced negligence, to ensure overall development of the national capital.

Addressing a public gathering at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sammelan held in the Nangloi Jat Assembly constituency on Tuesday, Gupta said under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has witnessed remarkable achievements over the past 12 years across domains like public service, good governance, public welfare, infrastructure, national security and global presence. Every decision the PM made was guided by national and public interest, leading India to a new era of confidence, self-reliance and development with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas’.
She said that her government is also working with the same zeal to turn development into a people’s movement, taking it to every section of the society in the national capital, especially to the poor.

She said initiatives focused on the welfare of the poor, women’s empowerment, new opportunities for the youth, modern infrastructure, the digital revolution and transparent governance have given a new direction to India’s development journey, adding that the same commitment is now laying the foundation for building a developed Delhi.
Meanwhile, MP Yogender Chandolia, Delhi Village Development Board Chairman Raj Kumar Chauhan, MLA Manoj Shokeen, other leaders, public representatives and eminent citizens were present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister assured that her government will ensure government services and civic facilities reach every citizen of the capital without any discrimination. “The government’s objective is not merely to formulate schemes, but to bring meaningful and positive change to the life of every family,” she added.
Highlighting the developments in the Nangloi Jat Assembly constituency, Gupta said extensive work is being carried out on the sewer network, water supply lines, roads, drains, parks, the Najafgarh Drain, the DSIIDC industrial area and other civic infrastructure.
She said development works worth over Rs 70 crore have already been completed in the constituency, while projects worth around Rs 132 crore are currently in progress.
In addition, new development works worth approximately Rs 237 crore are currently under the approval process, she informed.
Gupta also reported on the development works currently underway at the cremation grounds in Peeragarhi, Saiyad Village, Chander Vihar and Nangloi Village.
She added that projects are also being implemented for the development of the Saini Chaupal, Jat Chaupal, Valmiki Chaupal and the Nangloi Community Hall.
According to CM , it is for the first time, DSIIDC has allocated a budget of Rs30 crore for the comprehensive development of the industrial area.
