As many as 50 athletes from Rajasthan who won medals at the National Championship and the National Para Championship will be absorbed into state government service.
The cases of 50 medal-winning athletes were finalised for submission to the Cabinet for appointment after due verification of their documents and performances in the respective events and categories.

Accordingly, the proposal for their recruitment under the special quota was forwarded to the Chief Minister’s Office for approval.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Sharma has accorded approval to the government proposal, paving the way for their early appointments, an official spokesperson said.
They have been allotted to the State Secondary Education Department and will be recruited as junior assistants.
The procedural exercise for their appointments has already begun, the spokesperson added.
