‘Cowards resort to violence’: After Jaipur attack, CJP’s Abhijeet Dipke says ‘won’t be intimidated’

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke, who was assaulted during a protest in Jaipur, Monday said that he will not be intimidated by such acts of violence.

Addressing the attendees of his protest at Jaipur’s Shaheed Smarak, Dipke said that only cowards resort to violence.

“I was assaulted while entering the protest site. No matter how many attacks take place, I will not raise my hand against anyone. Cowards resort to violence,” he said.

The CJP founder, who has been demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over exam paper leaks and alleged suicides of students, vowed to continue raising his voice for the youth.

“You call me Pakistani, you call those gathered here Pakistani, and you even label journalists who ask questions as Pakistani. But we will not be intimidated by such tactics. We will continue to raise our voice for the youth,” he added.

He later posted about the assault on social media, claiming the attack on him was a deliberate attempt to distract from the real issue.

“Our only demand is that Dharmendra Pradhan must resign… for the injustice and the suicides of students,” he said.

He said the CJP will continue to demand Pradhan’s resignation even if attacked 10 times.

“Even if you attack or slap us ten times, we will still keep saying that Dharmendra Pradhan must resign. Do not get distracted,” he added.

Earlier today, the CJP founder was slapped by two men while being escorted to the protest venue in Jaipur.

Both the accused were thrashed by his supporters and were later handed over to the police.
