Two minor girls were allegedly kidnapped and raped by two minor boys in a village in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district. The police detained both the accused boys after the girls’ parents lodged complaints.

According to ASP Vijay Dawar, the victims are 14 and 15 years old, respectively, while the accused boys are 15 and 16.

In their complaints, the parents of the girls alleged that the two boys had taken the girls on a motorcycle on Friday. When the girls did not return respective home, their parents started searching for them.

The girls returned home on Saturday evening and on being questioned by their families, they informed that the two boys raped them.
Consequently, the parents lodged police complaints against the boys.
Police registered a case under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and sections 137 (2) (abduction), 87 (defilement) , and 34 (common intention) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Both the boys were detained, and further investigations are on in the matter.
