Rekha Gupta performs Gau Seva to mark 12 years of PM Modi’s leadership

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday, June 10, marked 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership by performing Gau Seva at the Pinjrapole Gaushala in Kishanganj and offered prayers at the temple premises, followed by the recitation of Sunderkand.

After offering prayers, the Chief Minister wished for the good health and long life of PM Modi, who holds the distinction of being the longest-serving elected Prime Minister of the country.

In a post on X, Gupta stated that Prime Minister Modi’s “service, dedication, and work culture have scripted a new chapter of widespread change in the country”.

She further stated that PM Modi has “transformed politics from a pursuit of power into a medium of service, making 1.4 billion Indians partners in the nation’s journey of development.”

“From the Swachh Bharat campaign to the digital revolution, the people’s participation in every sector today is the greatest strength of the new India. This unwavering trust is guiding us toward the resolve of Viksit Bharat-2047,” she added.

In a letter, the Delhi Chief Minister even congratulated PM Modi for establishing the unique milestone of the longest continuous elected tenure in the history of Indian democracy.

“This letter is an intimate expression of every Delhiite and also a reflection of the sentiments in the hearts of Delhi’s mothers, sisters, and daughters. No matter what the political circumstances may have been, your affection, sensitivity, and resolve for development towards Delhi have always remained steadfast. Under your guidance, the capital has experienced world-class infrastructure, better public amenities, and a new momentum in public welfare. At the same time, your initiatives that place women’s dignity and empowerment at the center have provided new strength of respect, security, and self-confidence in the lives of millions of mothers, sisters, and daughters in Delhi,” she wrote.

Notably, Prime Minister Modi crossed former PM Jawaharlal Nehru’s record with 4,399 days in office as an elected Prime Minister.
