Sean “Diddy” Combs, currently serving a federal prison sentence, has been hit with yet another civil lawsuit. This time, a man is alleging that Combs sexually assaulted him when he was a minor, using the promise of career advancement as the pretext.
Who is the plaintiff?
The plaintiff, suing as John Doe to protect his identity, says he was already a working child actor at the time of the alleged incident. The lawsuit was filed and court documents were obtained by TMZ, which first reported the story on June 9, 2026.

The man has not been named publicly. His attorneys chose to file the complaint under a pseudonym, which is a common legal tool used by survivors of sexual offenses to shield their identities during civil proceedings.
What the lawsuit claims happened
According to court documents, the man says he was invited to a Hollywood Hills party in 2007 as a networking event. He states that he met Combs there and that Combs invited him to speak privately about career opportunities.
Once the two were alone, the man alleges that Combs began touching his body. He says he told Combs the situation was making him uncomfortable before Combs allegedly performed oral sex on him while also pleasuring himself.
After the alleged assault, the man says Combs told him he would keep him in mind for future opportunities, then left the room. The plaintiff says he was left alone, and in shock, he left the party shortly after.
The lawsuit does not specify the plaintiff’s exact age at the time of the alleged incident, but the filing frames him clearly as a minor in 2007.
Who else is named in the suit?
Combs is not the only defendant. The man is also suing agents he claims had a duty to protect him from situations like this. The lawsuit does not name those agents publicly in the portions of the court documents reported so far.
The plaintiff is seeking unspecified damages.
Diddy’s response
Combs’ spokesperson Juda Engelmayer responded to the lawsuit on his behalf. Engelmayer called the allegations false and said the plaintiff was “just another hater in a long list of people trying to get in on the money gravy train encouraged by personal injury lawyers.” He added that Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone, including a child, and said the allegations will be disproved.
The denial follows the same pattern as earlier responses from Combs’ team to other civil complaints filed against him.
Combs’ current legal status
This lawsuit arrives while Combs is already incarcerated. He is currently serving a 50-month federal sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. He was convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution under the Mann Act and was acquitted of the more serious racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.
Then he was sentenced to four years in prison and a $500,000 fine. He is set to be released from the low-security New Jersey facility on April 15, 2028.
On April 9 this year, his attorney argued before the US Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second District that the sentencing judge overreached by factoring in charges of which Combs had been acquitted. The three judges on the panel have not yet issued a public decision on the appeal.
Growing civil docket
The new lawsuit adds to a long list of civil complaints filed against Combs. Combs has faced at least 10 civil lawsuits related to abuse and sexual misconduct, including accusations of rape, drug-facilitated sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and sexual harassment.
In February 2026, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge allowed key claims in one case. This included sexual battery and false imprisonment, to proceed to trial.
At least three men have accused Combs of rape or sexual assault in separate civil filings. A former male employee also filed a sexual battery claim, and a woman alleged drugging and sexual assault.
The civil lawsuits are separate from the criminal case and are moving on their own timelines through different courts.
Background
The allegations against Combs first became a public avalanche in late 2023. His then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit accusing him of years of abuse. That case was settled within 24 hours. Since then, dozens of individuals have come forward with their own claims.
Combs has denied all accusations across every civil and criminal proceeding.
