The documentary screens the inspiring stories of women from the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan who have come together to challenge domestic violence, witch-hunting, discrimination, and injustice.

The film also showcases the work of Rajsamand Jan Vikas Sansthan (RJVS), a grassroots organisation established in 2003 that works to advance the rights, leadership, education and empowerment of rural women and girls in Rajasthan.

With the help of RJVS, these women support survivors, seek accountability, and create accessible pathways to justice within
their communities.

Directed by Mohan Kumawat and Sania Hashmi, the film highlights the work of the Nari Adalat, a community-based platform that helps women resolve domestic and social conflicts through mediation, counselling and formal legal processes, which are often difficult and intimidating for rural women to access.

Using interviews, archival material, newspaper reports, and real-life footage, “Dekho Parcham Lehrata Hai” traces a powerful journey from silence and fear to resistance, leadership, and collective action.

The title symbolises the resilience, unity, and determination of women who have transformed their lives and communities through collective struggle.
