The parade was reviewed by Brigadier Sajesh Babu P.G., Commandant, Punjab Regimental Centre, in the presence of military officers, instructors and family members of the Agniveers.
Addressing the newly inducted soldiers, Brigadier Babu congratulated them on successfully completing their training and urged them to uphold the values, discipline and traditions of the Indian Army in their future assignments.
The ceremony featured displays of military drill and precision marching, reflecting the standards of training imparted at the centre. Several Agniveers were honoured for outstanding performance in drill, firing, physical endurance and overall excellence during the course.
In a special gesture, the parents of the recruits were presented with the traditional “Gaurav Padak” in recognition of their support and contribution in encouraging their children to serve the nation.
The event concluded with the Agniveers taking an oath of allegiance to the Constitution and pledging to uphold the honour and integrity of the Indian Army.
The passing out parade marked the beginning of military service for the young recruits, who will now be deployed to various units of the Army.
