The government bungalow located at 10 Circular Road in Patna, which was long associated with former Bihar CMs Rabri Devi and Lalu Prasad Yadav, has been officially allotted to Bihar Minister Nand Kishore Ram.
As per the latest order issued by the Building Construction Department on Friday, May 29, preparations are underway to install a new VVIP nameplate at the bungalow, signaling the formal transfer of possession, IANS reported.

Before allotting the property to Nand Kishore Ram, the department earlier issued a notice to Rabri Devi, currently serving as the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council. Through the official order, she was asked to vacate the government residence at 10 Circular Road.
Notably, this place has long held a major significance in Bihar’s political landscape, emerging as an influential political addresses in the state. Over the years, it even served as the major centre for strategic meetings and political planning by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
While asking Rabri Devi to vacate the 10 Circular Road residence, the NDA government in Bihar has already allotted a new government bungalow to Rabri Devi, which is situated in the upscale Harding Road locality of Patna.
An official told IANS that the bungalow is fully prepared in accordance with the facilities, security arrangements as well as official protocols applicable to former CMs.
