Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and NSUI president Vinod Jakhar also assured the family of their support and solidarity.
Pradeep Meghwal allegedly died by suicide on May 15, 2026, in his rented accommodation in Sikar.
A native of Guda Gaurji village in Jhunjhunu district, Pradeep had been living in Sikar with his two sisters for the past three years while preparing for the NEET examination.
This year was reportedly his third attempt at the medical entrance test, in which he was said to have performed well and was expecting to score around 650 out of 720 marks, according to reports.
