Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday said that the state government will write to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), asking the agency to investigate the death of Noida woman Twisha Sharma at her marital home in Bhopal.
CM Yadav, who met the parents of Twisha at the state Secretariat, also assured them of full support from his government, according to a statement from his office.

Twisha Sharma, who hailed from Noida in Uttar Pradesh, was found dead inside her marital home in Bhopal on May 12.
Her family accused her in-laws of dowry harassment and raised doubts about the Madhya Pradesh police’s investigation.
The family has also been demanding a second post-mortem outside the state, alleging her injury marks were not correctly mentioned in the first post-mortem conducted on May 13.
On this, the MP CM told the family that while a decision on conducting the second post-mortem will be taken by the court, his government can facilitate the transfer of the body to AIIMS Delhi if the family wishes.
Meanwhile, a lower court has rejected the family’s plea requesting the second autopsy. However, the court directed the SHO to preserve the body.
