In the academic year 2025-26, Tamil Nadu has recorded an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.31 in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Class 10 board examinations.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, on Wednesday, May 20, announced the SSLC Class 10 Result 2026 at 9:30 a.m. Students can access and download their provisional marksheets through official websites tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in.
They can also visit digilocker.gov.in, and umang.gov.in to check their results, which were announced by School Education Minister Thiru Rajmohan via a press conference.

In the academic year 2025-26, Tamil Nadu has recorded an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.31 in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Class 10 board examinations. More than nine lakh students had appeared for the crucial public examinations across the state.

The SSLC exams were conducted between March and April at various examination centres across the state, with lakhs of students appearing for one of the most significant milestones in their academic journey.

Step 1: Visit the official website at tnresults.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the “TN SSLC Result 2026” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Provide your registration number and date of birth.
Step 4: Submit the details to access the result. Download the same and keep a copy of the provisional marksheet for future reference.
Education authorities have advised students to keep their hall ticket details ready before logging in to avoid delays. This will ensure a smoother process while accessing the results.
A large number of students are expected to visit the websites simultaneously. Due to this, officials have urged students and parents not to panic in case of temporary delays due to heavy traffic.
Apart from online facilities, they can obtain their examination results directly from the schools. School administrations across the state have been instructed to assist students and parents in accessing and verifying results without inconvenience.
Also, the state government has made arrangements for delivering examination results through SMS services to ensure broader accessibility.
