Supporters of the party gathered outside Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s residence, raising slogans and creating a loud political atmosphere in the city. The mood quickly shifted from anticipation to celebration as results began to favour the BJP in several constituencies.
As the lead grew wider, people came out on the streets in different parts of Kolkata. Many BJP supporters were seen chanting “Jai Shree Ram” with enthusiasm.

At the city’s iconic Howrah Bridge, BJP workers gathered in large numbers to mark the occasion. Videos circulating on social media showed a huge crowd chanting “Jai Shree Ram” together.
According to the trends, the BJP has been leading which indicates it could form its first government in West Bengal and end Mamata Banerjee’s 15-year-long rule.
