Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, sending out a strong message against regionalism, warned that those who indulge in violent crimes will not be spared. “They will be brought to book at any cost,” she asserted.
Rekha Gupt said this on Thursday, after meeting the bereaved family of late Pandav Kumar, a 21 year-old- delivery person who was recently shot dead in the Dwarka area of Delhi a few days ago.

Pandav Kumar lost his life in a confrontation between a delivery partner and another person. As the heated exchange between the two escalated, the accused allegedly pulled out his gun and fired at the victim. While he died on the spot the pillion rider on his bike also sustained gunshot wounds.
Taking to social media platform X, Gupta said, ‘Every person, who comes from any state of the country and lives in Delhi, is a Delhiite, part of our family.’
“The pain of losing a son untimely is so immense for parents that it cannot be expressed in words,” she said.
She assured that her government stands with the entire family and will provide them with every possible assistance and will bring the culprits to justice and ensure that the strictest punishment is meted out to them.
The chief minister shared that she has given instructions to senior Delhi Police officials not to be lax in the investigation and that the guilty should receive the harshest penalty.
