NDMC schools script history with stellar CBSE Class X results

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has achieved a significant milestone in education, with its schools recording outstanding results in the Central Board of Secondary Education Class X examinations.

Describing the achievement as a reflection of sustained efforts towards quality education and holistic development, NDMC said the performance highlights its commitment to academic excellence.

A standout performer, Supriya Lohani of Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya, Kidwai Nagar, emerged as the top scorer among NDMC students, securing 462 out of 500 marks (92.4 per cent). Her achievement was hailed as an inspiration and a testament to dedication, hard work, and effective guidance from teachers and parents.

In a historic first, all Atal Adarsh Vidyalayas under the New Delhi Municipal Council recorded a 100 per cent pass result, underlining the strong academic foundation and disciplined environment fostered in these institutions.

The NDMC Day Time School, established to educate and rehabilitate dropout students, also achieved a 100 per cent pass rate. Officials said this reflects the council’s inclusive approach to education and its efforts to bring every child back into the mainstream.

NDMC Chairman Keshav Chandra congratulated students, teachers, principals, parents and education officials for the achievement. He noted that the results demonstrate the effectiveness of the council’s initiatives in strengthening academic standards, modern teaching practices, and student support systems.

The New Delhi Municipal Council reiterated its commitment to further improving educational infrastructure, expanding digital learning, and promoting skill development to ensure continued excellence.

Officials said the results reaffirm NDMC’s vision of nurturing empowered, educated, and responsible citizens for the future.
