The reunion took place on the set of ‘Laughter Chefs 3’, where Sunita Ahuja appeared alongside Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah. For years, Sunita and Krushna had not been on speaking terms.
The distance began after Krushna reportedly mocked his maternal uncle Govinda in a comic performance, which Sunita did not take lightly at the time.
The situation had stayed cold for a long period, with no public interaction between them. But this time, things looked different. A video circulating on social media showed Sunita walking up to Krushna and Kashmera and hugging them openly.

She added that she now feels like she has grandsons as well, and that she has seen enough ups and downs in life. According to her, the focus now is simply to enjoy life without carrying old tension forward.
The reunion also gained attention because it came during ongoing public discussion about Sunita Ahuja and Govinda’s relationship. In earlier interviews, Sunita had made strong claims, saying she would not forget Govinda for allegedly having affairs with other women.
Govinda had denied these claims in response. Speaking to ANI, he addressed the situation indirectly, saying, “What I’ve been observing lately is that sometimes when we don’t speak, we either appear weak or it seems like we are simply the problem… But she (Sunita) can never think that she herself has been unknowingly placed in a big conspiracy, with her being thrown into the field as the opening batsman.”
