“Today marks a deeply emotional and proud moment in my life as I take oath as a Member of the Rajya Sabha… I dedicate this milestone to my late father, Ajit Dada Pawar, whose guidance, values and commitment to public service continue to inspire me every single day,” Parth wrote in a lengthy emotional note on X.

Recalling his father’s parliamentary journey that started in 1991, Parth said that his only wish was that he (his father Ajit Pawar) was alive to witness this moment.

“I am certain his blessings are with me,” Parth wrote, as he promised to uphold Ajit Pawar’s “legacy with sincerity and purpose.”

The NCP leader also expressed his gratitude to the people of Baramati, saying that their unwavering support and trust have shaped his journey. “Their faith strengthens my resolve to serve with greater dedication.”

He also expressed gratitude to his mother, Sunetra Pawar, for her “constant strength and support, and for being present on this special occasion.”

Pawar further thanked all the NCP MLAs and senior party leaders, including Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare for their “trust and encouragement.”

He further added that he was honoured by the presence of Union Minister JP Nadda during his swearing-in ceremony. The NCP leader also expressed sincere gratitude to the Mahayuti leadership, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and deputy CM Eknath Shinde.

“This responsibility is not just an opportunity, but a solemn commitment—to serve Maharashtra to the best of my ability. The aspirations of our youth, the concerns of our farmers, the empowerment of women, and giving voice to the voiceless will remain my highest priorities,” he said.

He concluded, “I move forward with humility, guided by my father’s ideals, and with a firm resolve to make him proud.”
