Gupta further said that it was due to the strong values and teachings imparted to his children that his youngest son, Virendra Sachdeva, is today serving as the state president of the country’s largest political party.
Sachdeva’s family had migrated from Muzaffargarh (now in Pakistan) during the Partition of 1947 and settled in Old Delhi’s Shankar Gali, where they established their business. They later moved to Mayur Vihar in East Delhi.
