The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for the second phase of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, confirming a packed run of fixtures as the tournament enters its decisive stage.
The remainder of the league phase will feature 50 matches, set to be played from April 13 to May 24 across 12 venues in India. Matches will be held in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamsala, Raipur, and New Chandigarh.

The action resumes on April 13 with Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad, marking the beginning of a crucial stretch where teams will battle for playoff spots.
With the league stage approaching its business end, the competition is expected to intensify, as franchises fight for a place in the top four.
The second phase will include eight double-headers, with afternoon matches scheduled at 3:30 PM IST and evening fixtures at 7:30 PM IST.
Franchises will also split their home fixtures across multiple venues. Punjab Kings will host games in New Chandigarh and Dharamsala, including three matches in Dharamsala. Rajasthan Royals will play four home games in Jaipur, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru are set to host three matches in Bengaluru and two in Raipur.
The BCCI added that details regarding the playoff venues will be announced at a later date.
