The wedding ceremony was attended by several current and former cricketers, including Suresh Raina, Mohammad Kaif, Yuzvendra Chahal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, along with India’s fielding coach T. Dilip, among others.

Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif, who was present at the wedding, congratulated the couple on social media and described Kuldeep as one of the nicest players on the circuit.

“Another big day in Vanshika & Kuldeep Yadav’s life. One of the nicest cricketers on the circuit. Congratulations @imkuldeep18,” Kaif wrote on X while sharing a picture hugging the groom.

Former India spinner Piyush Chawla also extended his wishes, posting a photo with the newlyweds and writing:
“Congratulations, Kuldeep & Vanshika!! Wishing both of you the best.”

Meanwhile, Munaf Patel, bowling coach of Delhi Capitals for IPL 2026, shared a congratulatory message on X, wishing the couple lifelong happiness while also jokingly reminding Kuldeep about a celebration once he joins the team camp.

“What a beautiful moment! Wishing the happy couple a lifetime of joy and togetherness. May your journey be filled with endless love and laughter. So happy for you both! @imkuldeep18 @DelhiCapitals ke camp mein party hogi,” he wrote.

The wedding marks the culmination of a long-standing relationship. Kuldeep and Vanshika are childhood friends from Kanpur, where their families lived just three kilometres apart. Kuldeep hails from the Lal Bungalow area, while Vanshika is from Shyam Nagar. Vanshika works as an administrative professional with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and also pursued higher studies in Melbourne.

The couple got engaged on June 4 in Lucknow in a traditional ceremony. Their wedding, originally planned for November, was postponed due to Kuldeep’s international commitments during the multi-format series against South Africa.

Kuldeep, a key member of India’s white-ball setup, was retained by Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2026 season. He is expected to join the team camp soon as preparations begin for the upcoming season, which starts on March 28. Delhi Capitals will open their campaign against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on April 1.
