Bad weather forces Rahul to cancel Almora rally, return to Delhi
Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's Almora rally was cancelled on Thursday owing to bad weather conditions in the Kumaon region.
The senior Congress leader wrote a detailed post on his social media “X” handle on Thursday, praising Rahul Gandhi for “always cautioning the government well on time on emerging crises right from the traumatic phase of COVID-19, encroachment by China, on issues of demonetization, GST. He lamented that Rahul’s advice/suggestions remained unheard”.

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has criticised the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre for not listening to Leader
of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and his timely alerts/suggestions that, he said, could have saved the country from many crises.

Gehlot said, “Rahul ji, fulfilling his duty towards the country, has cautioned the nation and the government from time to time regarding upcoming challenges, but the government did not pay attention to them in time, which resulted in a loss for the country.

Whether it was warning months in advance about Corona, alerting about China’s encroachment, the economic damage caused by the blow of demonetization-GST, the caste census, the upheaval in the share market, the Info-US trade deal, or the economic loss to India from the
ongoing war in the Middle East, every of his ‘prediction’ has proven true in due course of time”.
Now, Rahul Gandhi is continuously alerting the government regarding the security of the Indian public’s data. Chinese and American
companies are storing India’s data in their countries in different ways, which could lead to any kind of misuse in the future. However, it is unfortunate that the Modi government is not paying attention to this even now.
“I have always believed that when the government moves forward by taking both the ruling side, the opposition and all sections of society along, the outcomes are positive and beneficial. Just as we did in Rajasthan during Corona. By involving everyone, we executed excellent management which was praised by the entire world.
Rahul’s foresightedness and his vision of taking everyone along is the need of the country today. Instead of paying attention to his suggestions, the Modi government engages in the politics of false allegations against him. The country needs leadership like Rahul Gandhi, who listens to everyone and makes decisions in the national interest”, the 3-timer ex-CM said.
