A high-profile global meet on climate, ‘Mumbai Climate Week 2026’, will be held here at the Jio World Convention Centre, Bandra-Kurla Complex, from February 17 to February 19, 2026, according to an official statement here on Thursday.

‘Mumbai Climate Week 2026’ will feature a line-up of eminent global speakers including Hillary Clinton, Rajiv Shah who represents The Rockefeller Foundation; Imad Fakhoury, the Regional Director, South Asia, International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group; Amanda Leland, the Executive Director of Environmental Defense Fund and Clarisa De Franco, the Senior Advisor of Allied Climate Partners, as per the statement.

The other participants expected at the event are Union Minister for Environment Bhupendra Yadav; Union Minister for Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi, Minister for External Affairs S Jaishankar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Corporate Affairs Minister Piyush Goyal, among others.

Speaking about ‘Mumbai Climate Week 2026’, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “Mumbai Climate Week (MCW) showcases India’s resolve to lead with action on climate, from the city level to the global stage. As Mumbai hosts leaders from across India and the world, including governments, businesses, financiers, experts and young people, we are sending a clear message that Maharashtra is ready to work with all partners to build cleaner, safer and more resilient futures for our citizens and for the Global South”.

Business leaders like Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata, IDFC First Bank Managing Director & CEO V Vaidyanathan, Bain Capital PE India Managing Director Amit Chandra, Brookfield Asset Management Managing Partner Ankur Gupta, Godrej & Boyce Chairman and Managing Director Jamshyd Godrej, Godrej Industries Managing Director Nadir Godrej, Schneider Electric Global CFO Esther Finidori, UNEP Global Head Martin Krause, UNICEF India head Cynthia McCaffrey, Zomato’s Chief Sustainability Officer Anjalli Ravi Kumar, Serentica Renewables Chairman Pratik Agarwal and Rainmatter Foundation CEO Sameer Shisodia will share their perspectives on capital flows, markets as well as corporate climate action.

MCW will also feature a special space–themed session where Indian space heroes Rakesh Sharma and astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, both Ashoka Chakra awardees, interact with school students as well as global leadership on February 18 to link space exploration, science and climate responsibility.

Delegations are expected from over 30 countries, alongside leaders from Union and state governments, multilateral agencies, financial institutions, industry, philanthropy, civil society, academia and youth networks, with MCW’s success defined by solutions funded, partnerships formed, policies influenced and communities empowered after the week.
