Arrest warrant against Idukki MP Dean Kuriakose for assault on police officers

The Ottapalam Judicial First Class Magistrate Court on Thursday issued an arrest warrant against Congress leader and Idukki MP Dean Kuriakose in connection with an assault on police officers.

The court ordered his production before it as Dean Kurikose failed to appear before the court in the case registered against him by the Shornur police. It will consider the case again on February 2.

The case is related to the blocking of a road and injuring police officers on duty during a protest demanding action against the then Shoranur MLA in 2018.
