True justice means no one is subjected to injustice: Akhilesh Yadav on UGC issue

“The language of the law should be clear, and so should its intent. It’s not just about rules, but also about intentions. There should be no oppression, no injustice, no cruelty or excess, and no unfairness towards anyone,” he averred while reacting to the Supreme Court’s ruling on the UGC issue.

Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav said true justice means no one is subjected to injustice, and the court ensures this.

“The language of the law should be clear, and so should its intent. It’s not just about rules, but also about intentions. There should be no oppression, no injustice, no cruelty or excess, and no unfairness towards anyone,” he averred while reacting to the Supreme Court’s ruling on the UGC issue.

He said that the UGC regulations were also introduced in 2012. What were the shortcomings in those regulations? What practices were followed in the universities? What lessons were learned from the 2012 regulations? The Constitution states that there should be no discrimination anywhere.

The SP president said the BJP government is not providing jobs and employment to the youth. It is increasing inflation. The common people are suffering from rising inflation and unemployment. Farmers, laborers, and all sections of society are troubled by inflation. The cost of cultivation is constantly increasing. Farmers’ income has not doubled. Farmers are not getting the right price for their crops. Middlemen are dominant. The BJP government has failed to fulfill any of the promises it made to the people.
