PM Modi Commemorates 2nd Anniversary of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha, Celebrates India’s Enduring Faith and Culture

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended his greetings to the nation on the second anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, calling it a “divine festival” that embodies India’s deep-rooted faith, traditions, and cultural values.

Marking this significant milestone, PM Modi paid homage to Lord Ram and conveyed his heartfelt wishes to devotees across India and worldwide, emphasising Ayodhya’s spiritual importance to millions. “Today, the second anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla is being celebrated on the sacred land of Ayodhya Ji. This anniversary is a divine festival of our faith and traditions,” he said.

On behalf of Ram devotees globally, he offered his salutations and obeisance at the feet of Lord Shri Ram and extended his best wishes to all citizens.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, held in January 2024, formally consecrated the idol of Ram Lalla at the grand Ram Temple, following decades of legal and social discourse surrounding the site. Attended by religious leaders and dignitaries nationwide, the event marked a historic moment in India’s civilisational and cultural journey.

Since then, Ayodhya has seen a growing influx of pilgrims throughout the year, especially on auspicious days. The anniversary is observed with prayers, rituals, and religious programs, highlighting the deep emotional and spiritual bond devotees share with the temple.
