Not her first time at the White House

Here’s the fun twist. This wasn’t Mallika Sherawat’s first White House visit.

Back in 2011, during Barack Obama’s presidency, she attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. That appearance linked to her Hollywood film ‘Politics of Love’, which revolved around the 2008 US elections.

In the movie, Mallika played an Obama volunteer, and her performance earned her praise. She even got the chance to interact with President Barack Obama himself. While the film later struggled with distribution, her White House moment became a talking point back then and still is.

From ‘Murder’ to international spotlight

Mallika Sherawat’s journey has never been ordinary. She made her film debut in 2002 with ‘Jeena Sirf Merre Liye’ credited under her real name Reema Lamba. But it was the 2004 hit ‘Murder’ opposite Emraan Hashmi that turned her into a household name.

Mallika later stepped into international cinema with films like ‘Hisss’ and ‘Politics of Love’.

Most recently, she appeared in ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ sharing screen with Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri.
