AAP questions BJP of its commitment to national symbols, governance

AAP leader Sanjay Singh on Monday made a series of allegations against the ruling BJP, questioning its commitment to national symbols and governance.

He claimed the BJP’s ideological ancestors had worked as informers for the British, refused to hoist the national flag for decades, and called the tricolour “inauspicious.”

He said the party now uses “Vande Mataram” to hide its past and current actions.

On the issue of voter lists, the AAP leader alleged a plan is underway to delete around three crore votes in Uttar Pradesh, which he said would make the elections meaningless.

He also suggested the government would not act firmly against Indigo airlines because the BJP has received large donations from its promoters. Singh further claimed a corporate takeover was underway, linked to the Adani Group.

Additionally, Singh raised concerns over Delhi’s pollution, use of bulldozers on poor households and a temple, and rising crime. He has demanded a parliamentary discussion on these issues.

The BJP has not yet responded to these allegations.
