To ensure safety of industries in Bihar, the state government will form a special security force called the Bihar Industrial Security Force (BISF) to operate on the lines of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The new force will help make security arrangements in Bihar’s industrial areas more effective.
Announcing the move, Bihar Industry Minister Dilip Jaiswal said the primary objective of BISF is to make the state an investment-friendly and secure industrial state. “Security is a crucial aspect of attracting industrial investment in the state and increasing the confidence of industrialists. With the establishment of the BISF, industries will not only receive better protection, but effective control over theft, harassment, criminal activities, and other potential threats will also become possible,” he said.

He added that the force would ensure security in industrial areas through cutting-edge technology and specially trained personnel.
The minister said the state government wants to assure investors that their business is in safe hands. “This new security arrangement will instill confidence in investors and industrialists, encouraging them to expand their investments in the state. At the same time, this step will strengthen the state’s industrial landscape and promote the establishment of new industries,” he added.
Dr. Jaiswal further said that the NDA government is working in mission mode to establish Bihar among the top investment destinations. To accelerate industrial development, the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ framework is being further strengthened, and rapid progress is being made toward the development of five mega food parks, 10 industrial parks, and 100 MSME parks.
In a message posted on X, he said that the government’s commitment to making the state the new tech and industrial hub of Eastern India is being realised by providing industry-oriented skill training to young people. “The NDA government is also working at high speed on advanced projects such as a Defence Corridor, Semiconductor Manufacturing Park, Global Capability Center, Mega Tech City, and Fintech City. Through these initiatives, the goal of developing Bihar as a Global Back-End Hub and Global Workplace has become even stronger,” he added.
