In a rare incident, a class 6 student in Lucknow died on Friday morning, likely due to a sudden heart attack while appearing for an examination.

The student, identified as Amesh Singh alias Aarav, was studying at Mont Fort Inter College in the Mahanagar area.

According to reports, Aarav was in the middle of his exam when his health suddenly deteriorated. He collapsed unconscious from his seat inside the classroom. Teachers immediately rushed him to Bhao Rao Deoras Civil Hospital for emergency treatment.

Medical staff at the hospital administered CPR for an extended period, but there was no response. Doctors later declared him “brought dead,” indicating that he had passed away before reaching the hospital.

Dr. Ranjeet Dixit, Chief Medical Officer of BRD Hospital, Mahanagar, confirmed that the boy was brought in at around 11:05 a.m. in an unresponsive state. Despite the best efforts of the emergency team, they were unable to revive him.

Aarav’s father, Sandeep Singh, a resident of Jankipuram, arrived at the hospital shortly afterward. The sudden incident has left the family and school community deeply shocked and saddened.

Officials have stated that the exact cause of death will be determined only after a detailed death audit.
