Bangladesh: Madrasa headmaster arrested for sexual harassing Class 7 student
The incident is said to have taken place on Friday afternoon at the madrasa in Savar's Kamalapur area in Bangladesh.
The accused lecturer, Shatrughna Samal, who was serving on a contractual basis in the drama department, was terminated after a three-member inquiry committee constituted by the State Culture Department found the allegations to be true.

Authorities on Thursday sacked a guest faculty teacher of the government-run Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya here for allegedly sexually harassing a girl student.

Meanwhile, the accused has been detained. Further investigation is underway, police said.

Earlier in the day, the students of the government-run institution staged an agitation and sought stringent disciplinary and legal action against the accused.
