A day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival here to hoist the Dharma Dhwaj atop the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, the Ayodhya Municipal area resonated with Ramdhun. The aim is to imbue the atmosphere of Ramnagari with devotion.

Mayor Girishpati Tripathi, along with Municipal Commissioner Jayendra Kumar, pressed a button at the control room in Amaniganj at 10:30 am on Monday.

As soon as he clicked the mouse, Ramdhun, “Hey Ram… Jag Mein Do Hi Sundar Kaam,” began playing from the public address system. They then proceeded to Udaya Square and enjoyed the Ramdhun broadcast.

On this occasion, the mayor stated that Ayodhya is a religious city, and Lord Ram is its deity. Therefore, the Municipal Corporation has taken this initiative to ensure that devotees visiting Ayodhya can listen to melodious hymns related to Lord Ram, which will bring them spiritual satisfaction and foster spiritual consciousness.

The Municipal Commissioner said the Municipal Corporation is ready to provide cleanliness, drinking water and a pleasant experience to the devotees coming to Ayodhya. This initiative has been taken in the same sequence.

Municipal Corporation’s Public Relations Officer Mukesh Kumar Pandey said that to further enhance the religious atmosphere before the arrival of the prime minister, three Ram Dhun, Sunderkand and Hanuman Chalisa along with bhajans will be broadcast from Ayodhyadham 38 public address system.

He added that even after the flag-hoisting ceremony, the broadcast of Ram Dhun will continue for two hours each in the morning and evening from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm.
