UP CM Yogi fills SIR enumeration form in Gorakhpur, appeals to people to join process

A Booth Level Officer (BLO) visited the Gorakhnath Temple on Tuesday morning and provided the SIR enumeration form to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who filled up the form immediately.

Chief Minister Adityanath shared a post on social media, saying, “‘Verified Voters’ are the foundation of a strong democracy. Today, I personally filled out and provided my enumeration form in Gorakhpur under the Special In-depth Revision (SIR).”

The CM urged all residents of the state to complete the SIR form. This small gesture will strengthen India’s democracy.

The Chief Minister is a voter at booth number 223 of the Girls Primary School polling station, located near the Jhulelal Temple in the Gorakhpur City Assembly constituency.

Gorakhpur District Magistrate Deepak Meena, Sadar Tehsildar Gyan Pratap Singh, BJP Metropolitan Coordinator Rajesh Gupta, local councilor and Municipal Board Vice Chairman Pawan Tripathi, and GDA Board member Durgesh Bajaj were among those present on the occasion.

The Election Commission of India is conducting a special in-depth revision of the voter list from November 4 to December 4 in UP.
