Bihar Poll results doubled NDA strength; we will be In power till 2047: Maha BJP minister Bawankule

Senior BJP leader and Maharashtra’s Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule told media persons in Nagpur on Friday that the Bihar assembly election results have doubled the strength of the NDA, due to which it will remain in power until 2047, since the Congress leadership is not acceptable to the people.

“The central government is strong, but with today’s results, the NDA will get stronger. Now our government will remain at the Centre and in the states till 2047,” Bawankule said.

“The Bihar elections will have an impact on elections across the country. The people have faith in the NDA. We will win 51 per cent seats in Maharashtra as well. The people of Maharashtra also have faith in our double-engine government. Therefore, our victory in the forthcoming local civic body elections is certain. Devendra Fadnavis has a resolve to make Maharashtra number one, and the people will support him,” Bawankule said.

“The Congress party is getting smaller, and the Congress will make efforts to somehow keep Rahul Gandhi’s leadership alive. Seeing the mood of the people, Rahul Gandhi went abroad. The Congress will once again cry about EVMs to maintain Rahul Gandhi’s leadership of the Congress,” Bawankule said.

“The people do not like those who have raised doubts about voters’ lists. Whenever we lose, we never blame EVMs, but the Congress only makes allegations. Rahul Gandhi will go abroad and talk about EVMs and vote theft,” Bawankule said.

“The people of Bihar are in favour of development. They have complete faith in the double-engine government. The people have shown faith and voted for the NDA because this government can develop Bihar. The people have voted for us in Bihar as a party that keeps its promises. Many names get duplicated in the voters’ list, and they must be changed, but there is nothing like the vote theft that Rahul Gandhi has alleged. Rahul Gandhi never took up the issue of a developed Bihar, but the NDA has always focused on the issue of a developed Bihar, due to which people voted for the NDA,” Bawankule said.

“The NDA is getting a big majority in Bihar. 140 crore people of the country have stood behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Congress is weakening every day. The Congress leadership does not have the approval of the people of the country. The Congress is wasting time by blaming the voters’ list only to maintain its workers, party, and politics. Since they do not have a single issue of development, they are doing politics by raising the issue of caste, religion, and sect. Due to this, no one is ready to board their sinking ship. The people of Bihar have shown the Congress the way out. The Congress will be the smallest party in 2029,” Bawankule said.

Reacting to the Bihar assembly election results, BJP’s Mumbai President Amit Satam said that “The fake narrative of vote theft has been debunked by the people of Bihar. The allegations of vote theft made by the opposition are an insult to the people. The people of Bihar have given their answer through the results. The Bihar election is merely a trailer, and the real movie will be seen after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.”

“The people of Mumbai will also give a strong answer to the opposition in the forthcoming local civic body elections. They will not rest until the saffron flag is hoisted in Mumbai,” BJP’s Mumbai President Amit Satam said.
