The Communist Party of India (Marxist) Tuesday strongly condemned the bomb blast in Delhi, expressing heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.
According to the CPI(M) statement, “The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) strongly condemns the dastardly bomb attack in the heart of the national capital, Delhi.”

The party expressed concern over reports of large quantities of explosives and firearms discovered in areas around Delhi, indicating the involvement of an organised network. “It is the responsibility of the government to uncover it and bring all the perpetrators to justice,” the statement added.

The CPI(M) appealed to the people to remain vigilant, maintain peace and harmony, and not succumb to provocations. “The CPI(M) appeals to sections of the people to be vigilant, maintain peace and harmony without succumbing to any provocations,” the statement added.
The blast, which occurred near the Red Fort metro station, has claimed several lives and injured many others, sparking widespread condemnation from political leaders and citizens alike.
