Chunky Panday remembers Satish Shah: Bollywood is mourning the loss of veteran actor Satish Shah who passed away in Mumbai at the age of 74. Known for his effortless humour and unforgettable roles in classics like ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, ‘Main Hoon Na’, and ‘Om Shanti Om’, Shah leaves behind a legacy that few can match.
Among the many tributes pouring in, actor Chunky Panday shared one. Taking to Instagram, Chunky penned a heartfelt note recalling how he went from being a fan of Satish Shah to sharing screen space with him.

“From being a fan of Satish Shah since ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’ to becoming his co-star in ‘Teesra Kaun’ and many more, every moment spent with him was entertaining to another level. Will miss you so much my dear Satish. Om Shanti,” wrote Chunky.
He also shared a series of nostalgic photographs. The first captures the two actors smiling widely, and another where Satish Shah is seen perched on the back of Chunky’s bike. The remaining images seemed to be from the sets of their 1994 thriller-comedy ‘Teesra Kaun’.
The news of Satish Shah’s passing has left the film industry in deep shock. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit confirmed the news through an emotional video on Instagram. He revealed that Shah passed away following kidney failure. “He suddenly fell ill at home and was rushed to Hinduja Hospital in Shivaji Park. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it. His body will be brought to his residence in Bandra. This is a huge loss for the industry,” Pandit said.
Satish Shah’s career spanned decades. His ability to balance humour with heart made him a favourite among audiences of all ages.
