‘Emily in Paris’ season 5 trailer: Get ready for more fashion, romance, and chaos. ‘Emily in Paris’ is officially back! Lily Collins is returning as everyone’s favorite marketing queen Emily Cooper in the show’s fifth season which will stream on Netflix starting December 18.

The makers dropped a new trailer on Wednesday giving fans a sneak peek into Emily’s latest adventure and this time, she’s swapping Paris for the charm of Rome.

The preview opens with a dreamy montage of Emily and her new love interest, Marcello (played by Eugenio Franceschini), who she met in Season 4. As their romance blooms under the Roman sun, a voiceover teases, “We start on a beautiful woman. She’s joined by a man. It’s clear they know each other. Unable to keep their hands off each other, eventually sharing a kiss.”

From there, the trailer takes viewers on a whirlwind ride through cobblestone streets, grand piazzas, and candlelit dinners. Emily’s best friend Mindy (Ashley Park) makes a glamorous comeback too, telling her, “Rome looks so good on you.”

But it wouldn’t be ‘Emily in Paris’ without drama, and plenty of it. We catch glimpses of Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Julien (Samuel Arnold), and Luc (Bruno Gouery) juggling their ever-complicated office dynamics. In one witty moment, Julien asks, “If we are all here, who’s in Paris?”

Adding to the excitement, Minnie Driver joins the cast as Princess Jane.

Netflix teased the trailer on Instagram with the caption: “Hearts will Rome farther than ever before. EMILY IN PARIS returns December 18.”

The returning cast also includes Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Thalia Besson (Genevieve), Paul Forman (Nico), Arnaud Binard (Laurent G), Bryan Greenberg (Jake), and Michèle Laroque (Yvette).

From love triangles to fashion showdowns, Season 5 promises to be bigger, bolder, and more romantic than ever. Mark your calendars: December 18. Emily’s next chapter begins!
