A team of the Rajasthan Police is learnt to have detained two journalists from the digital news platform The Sootr—Anand Pandey and Harish Diwekar—from Indore in Madhya Pradesh on Friday.
Sources said the action was taken in connection with a news report published by The Sootr concerning Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari.

However, there was no official confirmation of the development till late Friday night.

The reshuffle led to a change of guard at many key posts, including those of the Additional Director Generals (ADGs) at the Police Headquarters, the Crime Branch and Intelligence.
According to court and police sources, an email received this morning on the High Court’s official ID threatened to blow up the building using RDX unless the scheduled Jaipur visit of the Chief Justice of India (CJI) to inaugurate a cyber security seminar on Friday evening was cancelled.
