Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has alleged that maximum atrocities against Dalits are being reported in Uttar Pradesh but the BJP government is patting its own back with false data and zero performance.
Citing NCRB data, he said, “The current government has the highest number of cases of atrocities against Dalits. Recently, a son of the Valmiki community was murdered, but the government remained silent. The BJP’s claims of zero tolerance are false,” he said.

Talking to media persons here on Sunday after paying tributes to socialist leader Dr Ram Manohar Lohia on his death anniversary at Lohia Park, he claimed, “In reality, this is a government with zero performance. The police that are supposed to maintain law and order have been diverted to serving the political interests of the ruling party leaders. False cases, arbitrary actions, and pressure on the innocent have become the modus operandi of this government.”

Hitting hard on the Yogi Adityanath government, the SP president said, “It’s deeply sad that a chief minister, who sits behind a white table but tells blatant lies. During his nine-year rule, corruption and dishonesty have permeated every sector, from education to development. The fact that a single accountant possesses assets worth Rs 100 crore reveals the true nature of this government. Thousands of complaints reach police stations, but no FIRs are filed.”
He said it is the same government that used to say that it would take 45 minutes to reach Lucknow from Kanpur. But the truth is that development is merely a facade. Officials and officers are being protected, while public issues are being ignored.
Akhilesh also criticized the government’s policy regarding JPNIC. “The government is trying to sell JPNIC, but we will not allow this to happen. This government is busy destroying and ruining development projects,” he added.
Claiming that not a single tree was cut in the park’s construction during Netaji’s time in constructing the Lohia Park, he said this is totally a socialist thinking. “The government is appointing officials based on casteism. In many districts, there isn’t even a PDA officer. The government is assigning responsibilities only to people of its own caste so that they could enforce their illegal decisions,” he added.
Akhilesh Yadav said , “This government is snatching reservations and handing over the market to foreign companies while proclaiming ‘swadeshi’.”
“The entire electronics market has fallen into Chinese hands, yet the BJP still cries “swadeshi.” Let traders make profits, then take donations from them. This is the BJP’s new nationalism,” he alleged.
Akhikesh Yadav said, “People of PDA community have woken up”
“The situation in the country has deteriorated so much that an IPS officer lost his life, a shoe was thrown at the Supreme Court, the hair of storytellers was cut, a boy from Valmiki community was beaten to death and the government has been only doing political shows,” he alleged.
He said the public is watching, and now the time has come to respond. The backward, Dalit, and poor communities have awakened.” Inspired by Lohia’s ideology, we will reach every village and neighborhood, demanding equality and Constitutional rights for everyone,” he said.
Talking about Dr Lohia’s ideology, the SP Ppresident said, “Dr Lohia’s dream was equality and justice in society. We are moving forward in that direction. In the future, the public will respond to the BJP’s injustice by forming a socialist government.
Dr. Lohia fought against injustice and inequality throughout his life. We pledge to spread Dr. Lohia’s movement of “Sapta Kranti” to the masses and work to bring economic and social respect to the PDA community.
