The global body also announced the prices for both semi-finals, the first at ACA Stadium in Guwahati on October 29, and the second at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on October 30. In case the Pakistan team, currently tottering at the bottom of the standings after three straight losses, reaches the semifinals, the first semi-final will be relocated from Guwahati to Colombo. In that scenario, the ICC assured fans of a full refund.
In line with its fan-first approach, the ICC has priced tickets affordably, with seats in Guwahati starting at Rs 100 and those in Navi Mumbai from Rs 150.
The announcement follows the rapid sell-out of tickets for Sunday’s India vs Australia match in Visakhapatnam and the India vs England match, scheduled for October 19 in Indore. Tickets for India’s upcoming fixtures against New Zealand (October 23) and Bangladesh (October 26) at DY Patil Stadium are also nearing a sell-out.
The popularity of this edition was evident from the record-breaking attendance of 22,843 spectators at the opening India vs Sri Lanka match in Guwahati, the highest-ever crowd for a group-stage match in an ICC Women’s event, surpassing the previous mark of 15,935 set during India vs Pakistan at the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Dubai.
