Panic prevails in Rajasthan town for 5 hours as strayed leopard leaves three injured
Three persons including a forest volunteer were injured in attacks by a strayed leopard in Toda Raisingh town of Rajasthan's Tonk district on Monday.
A case of alleged cheating and forced conversion into Christianity on the pretext of curing an ailment has been lodged at the Kot-Hindumal police station of the bordering Sriganganagar district in Rajasthan.
According to a report lodged at the police station, Satnam Singh of Khat-Labana village in the vicinity of the Indo-Pak international border, accused Baggu Singh and his son Amandeep Singh of cheating him on the pretext of curing his illness by spiritual power. They gave him consecrated water to drink.

The complainant reportedly told the police that, as he drank the “holy” water, the accused had told him that, after drinking this spiritually empowered water, for curing the illness, Satnam had now been initiated (converted) into Christianity.

On Satnam’s refusal to accept Christianity, the accused have allegedly threatened to kill him.
The police have filed a case under sections 196 and 299 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita (BNS) and initiated an investigation.
