History was created on Tuesday at Fun Republic Mall, a shopping destination here when an 18-foot-tall statue of Lord Shri Ram, crafted using 1.5 lakh coins of ₹1, ₹5, and ₹10 denominations, was unveiled by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.
The magnificent statue, representing devotion and artistry, took over 20 days to complete, with the collective effort of 25 skilled artisans from Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Kolkata.

This extraordinary feat has been officially recognized and recorded in both the Asia Book of World Records and the India Book of World Records.

Speaking on the occasion, Brajesh Pathak said, “India has always been known for its rich culture, philosophy, and spirituality, this statue adds a new chapter to that legacy. Lord Ram is revered by all, and we must continue to follow the path shown by him. I sincerely congratulate Fun Republic Mall and General Manager Ashwini Singh for organizing such a grand and dedicated event. I hope that similar cultural and devotional events continue to be held, preserving India’s glorious heritage.”
Expressing his views on this special occasion, Ashwini Singh, general manager of Fun Republic Mall, said, “This event is a true reflection of our faith and culture. The celebrations will continue till Diwali, featuring various attractions such as the Contemporary Ramayana presentation, a Shop & Win contest—where the top shopper will receive a 1-gram gold coin—along with several cultural programs and competitions designed to engage and entertain visitors.”
