Hurun rich list: In the world of Bollywood, there are stars. But then, there is Shah Rukh Khan, India’s very own ‘King Khan, who has now added another crown to his already glittering legacy. The man who once sold cinema tickets outside theatres has officially joined the billionaire club.

After sweeping the National Awards earlier this year, Shah Rukh has now been named the richest Bollywood celebrity, according to the Hurun Rich List 2025. His wealth? A jaw-dropping ₹12,490 crore.

So, what fuels this empire? Much of it can be credited to Red Chillies Entertainment, the production powerhouse he founded in 2002. From producing blockbusters to pushing the boundaries of VFX in Indian cinema, Red Chillies has grown into a mammoth company employing more than 500 people.

And of course, how can one forget Mannat? His sea-facing mansion in Bandra, worth over ₹200 crore, is practically a tourist attraction. Fans line up every day just to catch a glimpse of the star’s home.

But he isn’t the only one on this glamorous rich list. His long-time friend and co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, Juhi Chawla, along with her family, takes the second spot with ₹7,790 crore.

In third place comes Bollywood’s Greek God, Hrithik Roshan, whose fitness and fashion label HRX has turned him into a brand mogul with ₹2,160 crore to his name.

At number four is filmmaker Karan Johar, sitting on ₹1,880 crore, thanks to his Dharma Productions.

Closing the top five is none other than Amitabh Bachchan, whose family wealth is ₹1,630 crore.

While these names rule the world of movies, the story outside Bollywood is on a different scale altogether. Industrialist Mukesh Ambani has reclaimed his throne as India’s richest man, with a fortune of ₹9.55 lakh crore.

Just behind Ambani is Gautam Adani, with ₹8.15 lakh crore. A new power figure also enters the spotlight: Roshni Nadar Malhotra, who with ₹2.84 lakh crore. She becomes the richest woman in India and makes history in the process.
