Shetty emphasized that the role of producers is often behind-the-scenes, saying that too many focus solely on profits. “If the producers only think about money, something like this wouldn’t be possible. They were there throughout the process, and that is very rare,” he added.

The director further explained how collaborative the production was. “I called the entire team; DOP, art, design, production so many times, almost 15. Every time, we would sit and narrate the story. Based on the inputs, we improvised. Everyone needed to know what they were creating. Hombale Films gave tremendous support during this process, and I just want to say thank you to them,” Rishab said.

The team behind ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ is as impressive as the film itself. Music is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, while cinematography is handled by Arvind Kashyap. Production designer Vinesh Banglan has shaped the film’s striking visual.

One of the most talked-about aspects of ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ is its massive war sequence. Hombale Films has spared no effort in making this sequence a showstopper. With over 500 professional fighters and 3,000 extras, the battle shot over 45 to 50 days on rugged terrain that stretched across 25 acres.

The film is going to release worldwide on October 2, with versions in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and even English.
