The police further said that, acting on specific intel, a team conducted simultaneous raids on August 29 at two premises in Karol Bagh.

Harsh Indora, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) said, “At one location, Suresh Kumar, 26, was apprehended with large quantities of fake Honda luggage boxes, brake shoes, clutch plates, mufflers, arm covers, and counterfeit stickers.”

Another raid at K Honda Point resulted in the arrest of Pola Ram, 41, who had amassed hundreds of accelerator cables, brake cables, air filters, camshafts, and other auto parts, all falsely labeled as ‘Honda Genuine Parts’, DCP Indora added.

Investigators in this case revealed that the accused sourced cheap counterfeit parts from local manufacturers, rebranded them with forged labels, holograms, and packaging, and sold these dangerous components to dealers and repair shops around Delhi.

Some of these goods were even marketed online as original parts, misleading buyers and compromising vehicle safety, he said.

During sustained questioning, Ram admitted to manufacturing fake plastic parts after a previous factory venture failed.

“Kumar, a manager at Shri Ramdev Motors Pvt. Ltd., confessed to occasional dealings in counterfeit goods driven by profit,” the officer mentioned.

Both men are now in custody under an FIR registered under the Copyright Act.

“The Crime Branch continues its probe to identify further suppliers and dismantle this illicit network,” DCP Indora reportedly said.
