Navratri 2025 began on September 22, marking the start of nine days of devotion, celebration, and traditional rituals across India. The festival is dedicated to Goddess Durga, with each day honoring a different form of the goddess.
The first day, Pratipada, is devoted to Maa Shailputri, the daughter of the Himalayas. Navratri is celebrated with great enthusiasm nationwide, representing the triumph of good over evil and highlighting the diversity of Indian traditions.
This year, the celebrations will continue until October 1, leading up to Dussehra on October 2.
